Duke Blue Devils fans like myself are boosting investor confidence in Kleenex today, after Zion Williamson announced in a video that he would enter the NBA draft. I’m not crying, you’re crying!
Williamson became an overnight sensation at Duke, drawing massive media attention and catching the eye of basketball fans everywhere with his freakish athleticism, charisma and clutch performances.
Now after one season, he’s making the leap to the NBA. In his video, he thanked Coach K and everyone at Duke for what he called the best year of his life.
“I don’t think I can put it into words how special this year was,” Zion said.
Zion is expected to be the #1 pick in the draft by everyone with a brain.
