‘Yankees Suck’ Chants Erupt at Comerica Park After New York Intentionally Walks Miguel Cabrera, Who is Seeking 3,000th Career Hit (Videos)

New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone made himself public enemy #1 Thursday during a matinee matchup against the Detroit Tigers as he decided to intentionally walk slugger Miguel Cabrera, who is on the cusp of a 3,000th hit milestone.

And the fans at Detroit’s Comerica Park were letting him and his team know about how they felt on that move.

As you can see down below in this post, here are a few videos of the fans letting Boone and the Yankees have it with a few ‘Yankees suck’ chants around the park.

That decision by Boone loaded the bases for the Tigers. However, karma came with timing as Detroit left fielder Austin Meadows answered with an RBI double of his own.

That hit by Meadows would propel the Tigers to shut out the Yankees, 3-0, avoiding the series sweep to New York.

At least for Tigers fans, Cabrera will have a chance to get his milestone hit this weekend as Detroit will face the Colorado Rockies starting Friday night for a weekend series.
