Big E. got angry and told Zayne he’d be seeing him real soon.
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns beat Kevin Owens in a TLC Match by using a guillotine choke on the top of the ladder and dropping him to the mat to grab the belt easily. Jey Uso interfered throughout the match and at the finish just as Owens was about to win. Owens hit him with a stunner but the distraction allowed Reigns time to recover from being pop-up powerbombed through a table by Owens earlier. Reigns ran up the ladder to meet Owens at the top for the choke-out and win.
They announced Sami Zayne will defend the Intercontinental Title against Big E. on Friday’s Smackdown on Fox.
The Inferno Match with The Fiend vs. Randy Orton is next. The only way to win is to set your opponent on fire.
Flames rose on the ropes and around the ringside area a few minutes into the match for a special effects look. They brawled outside the ring. The Fiend set out his rocking chair and placed gasoline all over it. He placed Orton in it and lit a match to send a flame towards the chair. Orton jumped out of the chair before the flame could get him. Each time there were any high impact moves the flames would rise higher to try to add drama.
Randy Orton won the match by pushing The Fiend into the flames at ringside while The Fiend had him in the mandible claw. The Fiend’s jacket caught on fire but he still chased Orton into the ring like something out of a Friday the 13th movie. Orton gave him an RKO and it put out the flames. Orton then had an evil look on his face after the match. He poured gasoline all over The Fiend and set his entire body on fire. The flames at ringside went to their peak heights while Orton looked on as the show went off the air.
