Right before the Clash of the Champions, it appears that we’re getting an engagement of the champions.
Becky Lynch, aka “The Man,” who currently serves as WWE Raw Women’s Champion, recently put up a post on Twitter to share some good news with her fans. She announced that she just got engaged to her current boyfriend, WWE Universal Champion and WWE Raw Tag Team co-champion Seth Rollins. You can check out the tweet below, in which the two are posing together after the happy moment.
Happiest day of my life. For the rest of my life. ❤️💍❤️ @wwerollins pic.twitter.com/pfMEyEltGS— The Man (@BeckyLynchWWE) August 22, 2019
The two had been together for a while, but Rollins confirmed the news only in May, in which it became interwoven into WWE storylines, where the two eventually ended up working together after fending off both Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin. Eventually, they would end up emerging victorious, even though Rollins would end up losing his WWE Universal Championship to Brock Lesnar. It would turn out to be temporary, however, after he managed to reclaim the title at WWE Summerslam.
Currently, plans are for the duo to defend their respective titles at the upcoming pay-per-view event, with Lynch lined up to possibly take on the returning Sasha Banks; while Rollins could very well clash with his current co-tag team champion Braun Strowman. These haven’t been finalized just yet, but you never know.
Congratulations to the happy couple. Just one question, however – does this mean that Becky Lynch has access to Seth Rollins’ championships? Does this make her Becky “Three Belts”? Or, if we’re counting the Up Up Down Down Championship, Becky “Four Belts”? We’ve actually lost count now…
