WWE NXT On TV At The Concession Stands During Brewers/Padres Game – WHY???

For the first time in nearly two years, I attended a Milwaukee Brewers game LIVE in person on Tuesday night.
Obviously, things were flushed down the toilet last season for fans wanting to attend. Then came word that yes, fans are going to be allowed back in the stands! Finally. A great feeling and with most of my friends and family being fully vaccinated, it was high time for us crazy Wisconsin drunks to watch a game. In person. Sure, the game was a blowout loss, but that didn’t matter.

We were there. We had good seats. We stuffed our faces full of overpriced food. We had beer. We walked around pointing out things we had seen a million times before. We blew money in the Pro Shop. We saw the ridiculous sausage race and did all the usual crap we came to know and love. We are even returning to a game next week! It was all so familiar. It felt good. It felt…normal.

Everything except this…

Um, excuse me? I am a big professional wrestling fan. Thus, I know that WWE NXT airs on Tuesday nights, live on the USA Network. I was well aware of that fact and purposely avoided spoilers until Wednesday afternoon (after work). I didn’t want to know what would happen with the NXT Title match between Karrion Kross and Finn Balor. I didn’t want to see the much discussed debut of Franky Monet until the next day. I stayed far, far away from anything WWE NXT related during the drive to Milwaukee, during the pre-game crap, and while getting concessions.

THEN I SAW IT! Freakin’ NXT right there on the monitors. For those that don’t know, usually the broadcast of the baseball game is on all the screens. Thus, if you do have to use the restroom or whatever, the game will be on all the little television sets around the stadium. Nope, not in the section apparently. There is Cameron Grimes and The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase having a face off in the middle of the ring.

Unreal. I know the Padres were stomping all over the Brewers but geez!

What makes this even better is the Brewers will be hosting a WWE Night in September.

Pretty cool bobblehead there, huh?

Long story short, is there an explanation here? Does it matter? I don’t know. Anybody? Brewers? WWE? Bueller?

Why was WWE NXT on at the concession stands at the Brewers game?
