WrestleMania 36, Night One Review and Highlights | #WrestleMania

Night 1 of WrestleMania 36’s 2-night extravaganza has wrapped up from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida with no live crowd in attendance due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Let’s get into the action…

Segment 1 – The show begins with Stephanie McMahon in a backstage area and she talks about how they hope to bring the world some happiness and normalcy with WrestleMania, tonight. She also notes that this will be the most unique WrestleMania of all-time…for more reasons than 1.

Segment 2 – We see the host of WrestleMania, Rob Gronkowski who’s standing on the podium above the ring and hypes up the night’s events, Mojo Rawley joins him and our first match is about to be underway.

Women’s Tag-Team Championships – Kabuki Warriors (C) (Asuka and Kairi Sane) vs Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross

Winners, And NEW, Women’s Tag-Team Champions – Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross

Singles Match – King Corbin vs Elias

Result – Elias defeats King Corbin

RAW Women’s Championship – Becky Lynch (C) vs Shayna Baszler

Winner And STILL, RAW Women’s Champion – Becky Lynch

Intercontinental Championship – Sami Zayn (C) (with Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro) vs Daniel Bryan (with Drew Gulak)

Winner And STILL Intercontinental Champion – Sami Zayn

Triple-Threat Ladder Match, SmackDown Tag-Team Championships – John Morrison (C) vs Kofi Kingston vs Jimmy Uso

Winners And STILL, SmackDown Tag-Team Champions – John Morrison and The Miz

Singles Match – Kevin Owens vs Seth Rollins

Result – Kevin Owens defeats Seth Rollins

Universal Championship – Goldberg (C) vs Braun Strowman

Boneyard Match – The Undertaker vs AJ Styles
