World Series invader fails to climb outfield wall

A World Series field invader embarrassingly struggles to climb outfield wall as his attempt to escape security FAILS. His humiliation continues with fans chanting “a**hole.”

The fan, who was wearing a Chase Utley Phillies jersey, ran onto the field as the Astros led the Phillies 2-1 in the top of the sixth inning. After making a run through the outfield, with security in tow, the streaker attempted to scale the left-field wall. When the invader failed to clear the fence, he fell right into two security staffers that tackled him to the ground.

Two Philadelphia police officers ran to the scene and the fan was escorted off the field with his hands behind his back.

ESPN’s Jeff Passan called the streaker “an idiot.”

The incident forced Phillies pitcher Jose Alvarado to take a moment and reset before pitching to Alex Bregman.
