Wizard’s Star Bradley Beal Under Police Investigation

Written by BasketballBooGhan

Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal is currently under police investigation after being involved in a verbal spat with some fans following a game last week.

The incident happened when the 29 year old was walking down the tunnel towards the Wizard’s locker room area at Amway Center, Orlando, Florida.

A couple of hecklers allegedly pointed at Beal and shouted, “You f***ed me $1,300, you f***!”

Beal became irate and jawed back to the fan and his group for about a minute. He was heard saying, “I don’t give a f*** about none of your bets or your parlays, bro. That ain’t why I play the game.”

The Wizards franchise player was then ushered into the locker room without further incident. But after the game, the alleged victim reported the dispute to local authorities as the fan reportedly claimed that Beal hit him in the head during their confrontation.

The police began their investigation and requested footage inside Amway Center, but the incident between Beal and the hecklers happened off camera. The fan wants to formally press charges against the Wizards all-star and police said that there was enough probable cause for a case to be filed.

Bradley’s team, the Washington Wizards, released the following statement:

“We are aware of the situation regarding Bradley Beal in Orlando but won’t have further comment until we’ve gathered more information.”

Witnesses claimed that Beal did not hit the fan directly but appeared to knock the hat off one of the hecklers during the confrontation. Cops said that Beal could be charged with ‘simple battery’ for his actions.
