Will Smith’s History Of Assaulting People; Hollywood Elite Never Faces Consequences For Actions

Written by Chris Powers

By this time, everyone has either seen or heard the slap heard around the world last night when Will Smith struck comedian Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Will Smith has assaulted someone. Even worse than that, the “Hollywood Elite” A-Lister never seems to suffer any real consequences.

Prior to his Fresh Prince of Bel Air days, Will Smith and his cohort DJ Jazzy Jeff spent a night in jail for an assault in 1989.

Years after becoming famous for his role on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Smith gained notoriety for his work on the Men in Black series. Smith yet again got violent and slapped a reporter at the Men In Black III premier.

This is now the third known incident whereby Smith has struck another person with no known consequences. While he did spend a night in jail back in 1989, Smith is setting the example for youth everywhere that the proper course of action when you are upset with someone to physically assault them.

The “Hollywood Elite” far too often get away with committing crimes and never having to suffer any punishment for it. It’s time that changes and people like Smith are held accountable for their actions.
