Wide Receiver Beef in New York? Kadarius Toney Rips Kenny Golladay on his Instagram Story

Written by Nate

With less than a week until the official kickoff to the 2022 NFL regular season, the New York Giants may have a feud of their own between two of their top wide receivers on the roster.

On Instagram, second-year receiver Kadarius Toney took it to his Instagram story to bash his teammate in once-prized free agent Kenny Golladay saying he ‘ain nun’ in just a black picture on the platform.

Here’s a pic in a tweet by Clouts (Alex) on Twitter:

It is kind of laughable for Toney to rip on his own teammate when he was injured for the majority of his rookie year last season having only started four games and catching 39 passes with no scores. However, the former draft pick out of Florida does have a point in this.

Since coming to New York in 2021 through free agency with a $72 million contract, Golladay has only caught 37 passes for 521 yards and has not reached the end zone in nearly two seasons between his time with the Detroit Lions and with the Giants. A sharp drop since his 2019 Pro Bowl season in Detroit when he caught 11 touchdowns on near 1,200 yards receiving.

With a new front office and a new had coach at the helm for the Giants, this shall be something to keep a close eye as the season starts up next Thursday night.
