Why Josh Jackson Is A Win For The Pistons No Matter The Record

Written by Jeffrey Iafrate

If you’re a fan of the Detroit Pistons, then you’ve been watching Josh Jackson play some of the best basketball of his young career. Even though it’s very early in the season, the Detroit native is averaging a career-high 17 points per game while showcasing his defensive versatility.

Josh Jackson was drafted 4th overall by the Phoenix Suns, there was certainly a ton of raw ability shown in college at Kansas in just one freshman season. After being traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in his second season and now in the place he’s most comfortable playing, at home.

Jackson’s tremendous play has moved himself right into Dwayne Casey’s starting lineup, and with that comes more opportunity to showcase his talent. Regardless of the 0-3 Start, Detroit Pistons fans need to stay positive of this young core and their ability to compete every night.
