A new UFC Featherweight contender was born at UFC Vegas 35 this weekend when Giga Chikadze knocked out Edson Barboza in the third round. With the win, Giga’s win streak was extended to 8, and he remained undefeated in the UFC. As one of the divisions hottest prospects, who should he fight next?

The option that seems to be gaining the most traction is Max Holloway, and who wouldn’t want to see this? Arguably two of the cleanest strikers in the game just trading blows for 5 rounds would be awesome. The level of striking in the Barboza fight was ridiculous, so a Holloway matchup would be on a completely other level.

The only reason for the Holloway bout not to happen is if Max gets a title shot instead, so who are some other options? I think a Yair Rodriguez fight would be something out of a video game. It would just be Giga pushing an insane pace while Yair tries to take his head off with a triple spinning wheel kick or something crazy. Worst comes to worse we throw him in there with Jake Paul and see how Jake deals with a calf kick.
