White Sox Steal A Run In The Bottom Of The 4th Inning Vs Astros

Written by Robert McCarver

Game 3 of the ALDS between the Astros and White Sox has been a tremendous game. With the White Sox leading 7-6 in the bottom of the 4th Yasmani Grandal came up with 2 on and nobody out.

Grandal hit a slow chopper to first causing Luis Robert to be aggressive and head home but during the play, Yasmani went out of the base path. While he was running to first Grandal stuck out his arm to get in the way of the throw to home allowing the run to score.

That play should be reversed 100 out of 100 times and the fact that it wasn’t in a playoff game is Busch league. A great playoff game with an amazing atmosphere is going to be remembered because of that play no matter the outcome. The league needs to better with their rulings that could literally change the outcome of the game.
