The New York Jets have not exactly had the season that it’s management team hoped for. There were high expectations, but unfortunately this year rookie quarterback Zach Wilson did not deliver. What’s next for Wilson? He and the Jets will be squaring off against the defending Super Bowl champions and the GOAT himself, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady.
With the Bucs an impressive 11-4 and the Jets a dismal 4-11, you can expect to see a hard fought battle for the Jets. This is the first time in his career that Zach Wilson will be going up against Tom Brady.
In other New York Jets news, the organization waived roomie placekicker Alex Kessman earlier this month. Kessman was an undrafted free agent at the start of the season with the Los Angeles Chargers. After being cut in LA, he was then picked up by the Jets.
In his one game with the Jets, Kessman missed both of his extra point attempts and the Jets lost to the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 33-18. He was cut the next day.
