This week has been filled with QB1 drama. First, Rodgers was extended. Then, Wilson Traded. Now, the saga continues. Adam Schefter reported that Wentz was traded for a package that included two third round picks, as well as paying his full contract.
Wentz now partners with Scary Terry, Antonio Gibson, and Logan Thomas…Not a bad outcome for Wentz, who comes from a lackluster Colts offense. Washington fans should be excited to have this 29 year-old quarterback who still has plenty of career left to play! This also gives the Commanders plenty of room to go into the draft and free agency to make even more of a splash. Can you imagine a pairing of Wentz, McLaurin and Allen Robinson?
