Thursday Night Football is upon us, with that it means fantasy football talk! I hope my advice has been helping you all pretty well with that being said, I try.
For one, do not start ANY Falcons players tonight, unless Cordalle Patterson is set to go and is feeling healthy. If he is a no-go, the committee of Mike Davis and Wayne Gallman would be tough to manage, especially against a great Patriots Defense. If the Falcons are going to win tonight, it will probably come in a low scoring fashion.
When it comes to the Patriots, Damien Harris is expected to return tonight which brings up the question, what will happen to Rhamondre Stevenson?
Everyone is saying start this man, he is great, he is the future. I am saying DO NOT.
For years the Patriots have always been inconsistent at Running Back, meaning they always rotate who is going to be the guy in the backfield. I know that Stevenson rushed for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns last week, but I can also see this just being a letdown in a huge spot.
The Falcons are in the playoff hunt still and just got EMBARRASSED last week against the Cowboys. I expect them to come out and put on a better show in the primetime slot.
So to be honest, I got 0 people in this game to start. Maybe Koo the kicker on the Falcons or Folk the kicker on the Patriots, but that is it. Essentially, this blog is to tell you not to fall for the Rhamondre Stevenson hype trap. Let’s see if I am proven correctly. Enjoy the game!
