At today’s Celebration of Life event of the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter ‘GiGi’ Gianna, Kobe’s wife and Gianna’s mother, Vanessa, delivered a heartbreaking speech to thousands in attendance at the Staples Center.
Vanessa said in the speech via the Bleacher Report to tell Kobe “to take care of our GiGi,’ and that she got Nani, Bibi and Coco. We’re still the best team.”
Fellow athletes such as Michael Jordan and Shaquille O’Neal, and celebrities such as Jimmy Kimmel, spoke and offered their tributes to the Bryants, but Vanessa’s was possibly the one that brought everyone to tears.
