No. 25 Washington was on the road after losing to No. 11 Auburn, 88-66. The bad night didn’t stop there though, after the game the Huskies’ team bus caught on fire.
This happened shortly after one of the tires went out.
Washington was 15 miles outside of Montgomery when this took place, according to the Seattle Times. No one was hurt after the evacuation of the bus.
The team was waiting on the side of the road at 1:30AM so another bus could get them to the airport.
