St. George Illawarra Dragons got off to a superb start in their contest with Brisbane Broncos last week and despite failing to kick-on to give themselves a comfortable night, they were able to do enough to earn the victory in Dean Young’s first game as interim coach.

The Dragons were guilty of what they have done several times this season in knocking out sets but asking few questions with their 91% completion rate only producing four tries with two of those coming in the opening five minutes.

In his first game back having sat out for two games due to a COVID protocol breach, Paul Vaughan copped a ban so will be sidelined once again while Korbin Sims suffered a calf injury so Jackson Ford and Billy Brittain earn call-ups to the bench.
