Here today on May 24th, it was suppose to be annual tradition of running the Indianapolis 500 on every Memorial Day weekend. However, it got moved to later in the summer due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
But there is one virtual racing league that is broadcasting their own version of the famed race.
In now its sixth running of their race, the National Online Racing Community, or aka NORC iRacing League, is showing the race on YouTube today with prerace at 1:40 p.m. The racing is scheduled to be underway at around 2 p.m.
League owner and driver of the #74 cart, John Berry, leads the all-time wins chart at three (won three straight 500 races at one point), while #44 driver Anthony Emery won last year’s race.
