Back at the second week of the 2022 NFL regular season, Detroit Lions rookie pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson dedicated his three sack performance to five-year old Hudson Gaszi, a superfan who has been diagnosed with leukemia and whom happens to be from Aidan’s hometown of Plymouth.
Well just after the video was sent out, the Lions made Hudson’s dream come true as he was able to get the VIP treatment from the team.
Per the video below by the Lions’ Instagram account, Hudson and his mom were able to roam the sidelines for warmups with Lions players and coaches before their last home game against the Seattle Seahawks. And little Hudson was able to meet up with his idol in Hutchinson as well.
Though their current record is not the best at the moment, you can say that Hutchinson and the Lions scored themselves an extra W based on what they did for Hudson and his family.
Very cool moment for both sides, and all of us here at PSE also wish Hudson a speedy recovery from his illness.
