Watch as Washington Football Team’s rookie John Bates plays football with neighborhood kids (Video).

If you’re into the sentimental type videos, this one will tug at the heart strings a little.

Kegan Bertram, who is the wife of Washington Football Team rookie John Bates, posted a video on TikTok that is going viral.

In it, it shows the neighborhood kids playing football with Bates. Bertram said that the kids found out her husband was a professional player, knocked on the door and asked if he wanted to come out and play. And Bates obliged.

Bates was Washington’s fourth-round pick from Boise State in the 2021 NFL Draft.

In another video, it shows her attending the WFT’s first game on Sunday as an official NFL wife from the 20-16 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Moments like this are always amazing to see, especially when a pro player remembers that he too was likely one of those kids who played in the street and wanted to give back a little, even if it was just his time for a memory that those kids will likely remember for the rest of their lives.
