Pelicans star center Anthony Davis has been in the news more the past two months then the rest of his career. And that’s sad because he has had an outstanding career.
You know what is also sad? The amount of disrespect that the Pelicans are showing him back. Now.. I get it. He wants to be traded. Just trade him. But now the Pelicans are coming out and saying that they’re not answering calls for Anthony Davis?
“Anthony wants to be traded to a team that allows him a chance to win consistently and compete for a championship,” Davis’ agent, Rich Paul, told ESPN.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Monday. “Anthony wanted to be honest and clear with his intentions, and that’s the reason for informing them of this decision now. That’s in the best interests of both Anthony’s and the organization’s future.”
The same day the come out and say they’re not answering the phone they remove him from their introduction video? Petty? Or is it?
