Last Saturday, the Tennessee Volunteers handed the Alabama Crimson Tide their first loss of the season, 52-49, in an instant classic. As the team took the L as a whole, one Alabama player may have took a bigger one himself.
From a story by Trey Wallace and Outkick.com, Crimson Tide wide receiver Jermaine Burton was seen on a TikTok video striking a female Volunteers fan while on his way to the locker room.
One of the fan, Emily Isaacs, posted a video on TikTok showing what happened. It appears that Burton landed a punch to Isaacs on the head.
Isaacs wasn’t the only fan that the wide receiver had issues with, he was also captured via a TikTok video striking another fan.
Prior to this post, Outkick reached out to Isaacs for comment on the incident, but she has not responded.
That’s a pretty bad look for Burton and Alabama after the close loss to the Volunteers last week, especially when both teams played up to their potential in the game. Hopefully it will be resolved before the Tide’s next game at home against Mississippi State.
