Washington Football Team Signs Garrett; What Caused Browns To Bench Myles Garrett?

Myles Garrett has had quite a tumultuous season with the Cleveland Browns. After last weeks game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Garrett underwent testing for a groin injury he suffered. Because of this, the Browns were forced to sideline him and he will likely be questionable for the Christmas Day game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Washington Football Team has had an up and down season, likely ending without them making the playoffs. With that said, they have had troubles with injuries all season long, most notably at the quarterback position as first string quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was injured in the first game of the season.

Fitzpatrick was then replaced by Taylor Heinicke who was ruled out last week with COVID-19. Because of that, WFT was forced to sign an additional quarterback in Garrett Gilbert, who unfortunately was unable to lead the team to a win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
