Washington Commanders Legend Found Dead

Written by Our Friends

The worst part of sports blogging is reporting on the deaths of players. Unfortunately it was announced earlier this week that the Washington Football Team lost one of their own.

In 2021, Vince Promuto, a former offensive guard for the Washington Football Team passed away on June 1st at the age of 82 due to congestive heart failure. Promuto started with the team in 1960 and played the entire decade for Washington.

He is a member of the team’s Ring of Honor and has been named one of the top 70 players in franchise history. Promuto also played in the pro bowl in the 1963 and 1964 seasons.
