Carson Wentz may be missing this week due to catching COVID and that may be tough for some fantasy owners in the championship game. This goes towards those more in the 12 man league championship. Also, Lamar Jackson may miss this week again! With that being said, here our waiver QB targets.
Taysom Hill:
This is a must win game for the Saints in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. They are playing a terrible Panthers team and with that I expect him to thrive. Keep in mind his great ability to run. He can have a huge week, with potential high QB1 upside. Go snag him.
Justin Fields:
Once again, this man can run and he is playing the Giants. Ever since Jones has gone down for the Giants, they have been horrible. This is no shot at the Giants defense. They’re actually playing good, but they are on the field way too much due to how terrible the offense has been. Thus there are more chances for Fields.
Justin also has been running more lately and Quarterbacks who run always boost well for fantasy. He is not a bad play at all.
Jared Goff:
Yes I know it’s the Lions, but Goff has actually been solid as of late when he played. Look what he did against the Cardinals! The Lions consistently play hard and with the emergence of St. Brown, it gives Goff a reliable target to throw to.
They also have a favorable matchup against a Seahawks defense that has struggled all year long. If Goff is there, maybe give him a shot.
The Quarterback options are in order of preference. Hill is your number one waiver choice, Goff is your third.
Good luck to all in your fantasy championships. It has been a good run.
