Virginia Football Player Told Clay Travis to ‘Kill Himself’ in his DMs

Written by Nate

On Twitter, Virginia Cavaliers defensive end/linebacker Brandon Williams is getting himself in hot water after pushing self-harm to Outkick’s Clay Travis in his DMs.

In Clay’s tweet below, a screenshot image shows Brandon’s messages to Clay on two different days.

Back in October 2021, he asked Clay personally, ’why are you so racist and hate-filled?’ and said to him, ’its really sad to see.’ Fast forward to February 2, 2022, Brandon would DM him again this time telling him to ’kill himself’ and that he is ’praying for it.’

And let’s say a mix of UVA and Clay Travis were letting him have it.

Williams, who is listed as redshirt freshman, currently has no listed stats on the team for UVA as of the end of the 2021 season. He also sat out the 2020 season due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Just a horrible look for the young man who’s just about to actually start his collegiate football career over with the Cavaliers. Now, he could be on his way to either the transfer portal or off the football team entirely.

What a damn shame.
