Viral: Lions’ Amon-Ra St Brown Meets Up with Young, Special Fan on Sidelines Before Game Versus Bears

Yesterday afternoon, the Detroit Lions knocked off divisional rival Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in a close matchup, 31-30. But what many fans did not see was a meet-up between a young, budding Lions star and a fan that went viral.

Detroit second-year wide receiver Amon-Ra St Brown met up with a young fan named Lucas, who was in a wheelchair on the sidelines before the game started in Chicago.

St. Brown took it to Twitter asking for Lucas so he can give him a signed jersey.

Luckily, St Brown was able to find him with help after his dad, David, mentioned him in his reply.

The answer to Amon-ra’s meetup was so special is because it was revealed that Lucas was diagnosed with cancer a couple weeks according to David in the video below. You can hear him say to St. Brown that ‘it meant the world’ to Lucas.

The Lions are currently on a two-game winning streak due to wins over Green Bay and Chicago, but this moment feels like they won four games for Lucas and Lions fans.

Just an absolute class act by St Brown to do this for him.
