New Mexico State QB Diego Pavia was allegedly caught peeing on New Mexico’s logo inside their practice facility.

Pavia was recorded while doing it by a friend and the video ended up being leaked.

Albuquerque NBC affiliate KOB 4 reported about the incident, which  allegedly shows New Mexico State QB Pavia urinating on the New Mexico Lobos practice field.

“We are aware of the video and notified NMSU Athletic Administration of its existence on Monday morning,” a University of New Mexico spokesperson told the Albuquerque news outlet KOB4.

Last year, a brawl between students of the rival universities at the Rio Grande Rivalry football game at New Mexico State precipitated a deadly shooting later in the Fall.

Pavia played in 12 games for New Mexico State last season and has played all five games for the team this year.

The game between two rival schools took place on September 16, and New Mexico State won 27-17. Pavia threw two touchdown passes in the game.

This kind of behavior is should not be tolerated. This is taken a rivalry too far. Let’s have some class.
