Soda brand Vernors and Pure Michigan are teaming up once again and unveiling limited edition cans that feature iconic, picturesque lighthouses from across the state. 

Pure Michigan, an organization dedicated to promoting the state’s travel and tourism, is in their third year of association with Vernors on promoting the limited edition soda pop cans. 

According to’s Brandon Champion, a few examples of this year’s featured lighthouses include ones from Grand Haven, DeTour Village, and Grand Marais.

“Vernors is a Michigan original with a proud 153-year heritage and a devoted following in the state unlike any other soft drink, and we want to celebrate what makes this state such a special place to both live and visit,” said Beth Hensen, Market Development Manager for Keurig Dr Pepper.

The Keuring Dr. Pepper company owns the Vernors brand.

Within the last two years, fellow iconic  lighthouses such as ones from Old Sable Point, Forty Mile Point, and the Old Mackinac Point were all showcased from the Vernors brand cans. 

Consumers can find these cans in 12-packs of either regular or diet Vernors at retailers throughout Michigan and will be available for sale from late July to late September.
