Via a post by the Radio Results Network on Facebook, the U.P. State Fair has officially announced the lineup for grandstand entertainment during the week this summer.
The grandstand entertainment starts with UPIR racing on Monday night, then the music lineup starts Tuesday with the BOOM percussion entertainment show.
Wednesday, August 17th will feature Abbacadabra, the ‘ultimate tribute band to ABBA.’ Thursday, August 18th’s headline act will have Kansas City-based rock band, Puddle of Mudd, best known for their hit single, ‘Blurry.’
Country music will headline the entertainment for the weekend with ‘Roots N’ Boots’ featuring 90s artists Aaron Tippin, Collin Raye, and Sammy Kershaw coming on Friday, August 19th, while platinum singer Russell Dickerson coming on Saturday, August 20th.
General seating is free to each event in the grandstands with fair admission. Gold circle seat tickets are $15 for each concert, and they can be purchased at the Island Resort and Casino’s entertainment web page.
