Former UFC middleweight champion, Chris Weidman, brutally snapped his leg in half at UFC 261 against Uriah Hall in April. No one can forget the moment Weidman’s leg traumatically snapped and flopped like a wet noodle on the canvas. Weidman has been out since April rehabbing his leg and documenting his progress on Instagram.

Weidman gave an update to MMA Today on his injury and when to expect him back in the octagon, “I’m actually getting another surgery. I’m getting.another surgery most likely on August 11. They’re going to have to plate the fibula bone because it’s considered a non-union, so the bones aren’t healing the way it’s supposed to, which kind of sucks. I did expect setbacks and issues with this type of traumatic injury, and I’ve been through a lot.”
Weidman is hoping to make a comeback in April 2022 if all goes well after his new surgery and rehab.
