One Upper Peninsula native and star high school basketball player has committed towards a big step towards his career.

Iron Mountain High School senior and native Foster has announced on social media that he has verbally committed to Southern Illinois University (SIU) for basketball.

Wonders will join the SIU Salukis as third commit. The team also had commitments from Troy D’Amico and Scottie Ebube for the 2021 recruiting class.

He will join a talented basketball family that played in the collegiate rankings as his older brother, Carson, plays basketball for the Northern Michigan University (NMU) Wildcats. Their mother, Julie (Heldt) Wonders, also played for the NMU women’s basketball team as well.
