With less than 12 hours away until the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, an intriguing local NFL Draft prospect is waiting to see who will call him to be part of their team.
In a recent interview with our own Trevor ‘TrevStone’ Uren, former NMU offensive lineman and Upper Peninsula of Michigan native Jake Witt recalled that he has been in talks with a couple teams prior to the Draft.
The Bruce Crossing native stated in the video below that he was in contact with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Detroit Lions. The football team talks are mentioned at the 4-minute mark.
Witt believes that he could end up being picked in Day 3 of the Draft this weekend.
