Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill recently told TMZ that he has received death threats from Chiefs fans for comments that he made about Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes earlier this month. He had stated that current Miami QB Tua Tagovailoa was a more accurate passer than his former teammate in Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes.

This is nothing new for some star players in sports. When something doesn’t go their way (the fan bases) they begin to act irrationally. It’s never okay to threaten someone’s life, whether you mean it or not.

I’m not certain on the details behind the threats, or the quantity of threats received, but Hill, 28, signed a four-year, $120 million extension, including $72.2 million guaranteed, with the Miami Dolphins after they traded for him earlier this off-season. This is one of the biggest contracts in history for a wide receiver.
