According to Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey, employees will be allowed to work from home permanently, even when the COVID-19 pandemic ends.

Did I get the headline correct? No? Well that’s ok, because if there is one thing I learned from this pandemic is that working from home (if your profession allows) is insanely more efficient than going to the office everyday.

At home I can basically wake up, grind out my work, and be done by 10am every morning.

When I go to the office, I wake up, am forced to take a shower and wear something other than sweat pants, then drive and deal with traffic. By time I get to the office I have to check my email and wind down from my commute. By then, it’s basically lunch time so I have to think about what I am going to do for lunch. Then after an hour lunch, I’m worn out and haven’t even started working.

So the point I am trying to make is, when Twitter is suspending your account because you told a Bears fan you didn’t like your team, they will be doing it at warp speed!

In all seriousness, it is good to see that many companies like this are allowing employees to work from home, even when this pandemic ends.
