24 hours ago, the Atlanta Braves had an unknown rookie named Dylan Lee start Game 4 of the 2021 World Series. While it didn’t go as they had hoped, the Braves are rolling the dice again for Game 5.

The Braves announced that left-handed pitcher Tucker Davidson will be the Braves starter for Sunday night’s game against the Houston Astros at Truist Park.

Davidson was added to the World Series roster after Charlie Morton suffered a fractured fibula in Game 1. Davidson was 2-2 with a 1.17 ERA in four starts at Class-AAA Gwinnett.

In the big leagues, Davidson has made five career starts; four of which were back in 2020. He went 0-0 with a 3.60 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 20 innings pitched.

The Braves are looking to win their first World Series championship since the 1995 season.
