Turner now has the most HR’s (5) and RBIs (11) by a USA player in the WBC history.
Turner signed an 11-year, $300 million contract with the Philadelphia Phillies this winter.
Leading off the bottom of the second inning, Japan’s Munetaka Murakami crushed a solo home run to right field off U.S. starter Merrill Kelly, tying the game 1-1.
