TRANSFER RUMORS – Real Madrid End Interest In Paul Pogba

In some pretty big world footballing news, Real Madrid have reportedly pulled out of the race to sign Manchester United’s Paul Pogba. According to Marca, the club are unwilling to meet Pogba’s wage demands and are ‘prepared to pull out of the race.’

Madrid have been longtime admirers of the United midfielder, and it was expected that they would look to sign him when the transfer window opens this summer.

It is not currently known what the wage demands were, but Pogba is reportedly on over £350,000 a week at Manchester United, with a lucrative move to Madrid he may be expecting a hefty payrise.

Manchester United legend Paul Ince recently had some interesting words regarding Pogba’s state at the club. “The on the pitch performances, plus his [Pogba’s] behaviour off the pitch? With his agent and generally acting up? It isn’t good for the club. If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to take the club forward? To build and to instil the ‘United Way’ back into the team? Then Pogba’s actions don’t reflect that.”
