Sky Sports have reported that reigning Premier League Champions Manchester City want to sign Paris Saint Germain youngster Edouard Michut.
City are reportedly looking to make an offer to buy out the remaining year of Michut’s contract. As a 17 year old he is under a youth contract, and as such the club are hoping to get him on a cut-price deal.
If City aren’t successful they can wait until he becomes a free agent in 2021, thus PSG would only be subsidised with ‘training compensation,’ something PSG clearly want to avoid.
Apparently there are other top Premier League, La Liga and Serie A clubs that are considering bringing in the youngster. Michut is being compared to the likes of Marco Verratti.
