According to the most recent report by the United Nations Humans Rights Office, at least 474 civilians have been killed in Ukraine since the Russian invasion began.

Aside from the 474 civilians that have been killed, 861 have been wounded. The report did also state that the towns of Volnovakha, Mariupol and Izium have reported hundreds of deaths but have yet to have been corroborated. The UN Report also stated the following:

“Most of the civilian casualties recorded were caused by the use of explosive weapons with a wide impact area, including shelling from heavy artillery and multi-launch rocket systems, and missile and air strikes,” it said.

According to former Ukrainian Prime Minister Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, more than 40 children have been killed during the Russian attack of the Ukraine and civilian deaths have soared past 2,000 which is considerably different than the UN report. The former prime minister also said that at least 75 children have been injured, with some of them now dying.
