Draymond Green was asked where he ranks among all-team in defenders and he responded saying he is the “Best defender to ever play in the NBA”. Obviously the answer comes as a shock to people considering there has been many great versatile defenders before Draymond’s time. Players like Tony Allen, Scottie Pippen and even Kevin Garnett. Tony Allen took offense to this statement and decided to let out his frustrations over twitter.
Tony Allen was best known for his battles with Kobe with the Boston Celtics and even guarding Lebron at points of his career. Draymond recently responded to Tony Allen criticizing his defensive play late in his career.
