Even in a losing season with a lot of uncertainty and changes in place, the Detroit Lions still managed to get a decent amount of Pro Bowlers from their roster.
It has been announced on Twitter that the AFC and NFC Pro Bowlers and three Detroit Lions were selected.
Players selected from Detroit were tight end TJ Hockenson, center Frank Ragnow (overall offensive linemen) and punter Jack Fox (special teams).
Each of the players have maintained consistent stats throughout the 2020 season.
Via Pro Football Reference, Hockenson currently has 60 catches, 675 yards, and six touchdowns in 14 games played this season. He has eight career touchdown catches overall.
Drafted back in 2018, Ragnow is the anchor in a steady, but improving offensive line. This season, he has not allowed a sack and has only committed two penalties this season.
And as a steady surprise from training camp, Jack Fox has filled in nicely as a replacement for Sam Martin as a punter. In 49 punts, Fox has only punted six times for touchbacks, while he has landed the ball inside the 20-yard line 21 times; sustaining a 45.3 yard net average.
