Written by Tony Ghaul

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their first official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Week 3 Monday Night Football game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The three players that were listed under DID NOT PARTICIPATE are: Quez Watkins, Boston Scott, and Terrell Edmunds.

Watkins injured his hamstring in the Eagles week 2 win over the Minnesota Vikings. He will most likely miss Monday Night’s game.

Scott suffered a concussion in week 2. He has to clear concussion protocol to be eligible to play.

Edmunds missed Thursday’s practice with an illness. He should be ready for Monday.

The Eagles got three key players back at practice. Starting CB James Bradberry (concussion), starting safety Reed Blankenship (ribs) and RB Kenny Gainwell (ribs) all returned to practice as limited participants.

With Gainwell’s return to practice, it will be interesting to see what the workload will be between Gainwell and D’Andre Swift at RB.

Swift broke out with a huge 175 yards on 28 carries and a touchdown to lead the Eagles in a 34-28 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
