This Infamous Late Hitman Could Also Be Matthew McConaughey’s Real Father According to Woody Harrelson

There are rumblings in the celebrity industry which claims that A-List actors Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey are actual siblings! The two actors famously worked in HBO’s True Detective and their families are reportedly close. Both of their families even go on vacations in and out of the country.

Woody recounted that in a specific vacation to Greece, McConaughey’s mother, Mary Kathleen, subtly told Harrelson that she ‘knew’ his father.

“In Greece a few years ago, we’re sitting around talking about how close we are and our families and my mom is there, and she says, ‘Woody, I knew your dad.’ Everyone was aware of the ellipses that my mom left after ‘knew.’ It was a loaded K-N-E-W,” he recalled.

Both actors brushed it off at first but ended up researching the timeline when Matthew’s mother stated she ‘knew’ Woody’s father. It became a shock to them that during this time, Matthew’s parents were separated for almost a year and it is quite possible that an affair did actually happen between Woody’s father and Matthew’s mother.

“Then there’s possible receipts and places out in West Texas where there might have been a gathering, or a meeting, or a ‘knew’ moment,” the Oscar winner said.

Harrelson has encouraged McConaughey to get a DNA test but the latter is somewhat hesitant to take it. He is admittedly afraid to know the truth and wants to preserve the memories he had with his late father, Jim McConaughey.

Woody is still optimistic that Matthew will come around and take the DNA test, saying the actor will earn a new brother and family if it turns out that they are related. The ‘knew’ moment was purposely said with innuendos that’s why both actors quickly made some research and patched up timelines where the affair possibly happened.

If both of them are proven real life brothers, their father is none other than infamous hitman Charles Harrelson. The late Charles died in prison in 2007 due to murdering federal judge John H. Wood. His presence is almost non-existent in Woody’s life but the actor stated that his father was ‘charming’ and ‘bright’. He frequently visited him in federal prison when he made it big in hollywood.

What do you think? Both actors do have an uncanny resemblance and share the same charisma on screen.
