I feel as if every week, I learn of something new that the TV show talked about YEARS ago that is now coming true.

Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports might have came up with the idea… But before Dave started Barstool a little TV show with yellow characters thought about the idea first, in 1991.

The Simpsons showed a quick clip of a newspaper titled, Bar and Stool Magazine.

Another thing that is crazy? At the bottom it says ‘through the roof’… How many times has Dave Portnoy said things like ‘to the moon’, ‘through the roof’, ‘brick by brick’, so many different sayings.

This one just happens to fit with the Barstool lingo.
