The Saints have officially signed safety Tyrann Mathieu to a 3 year, $33M deal. The Saints have signed the star 29 year old through the 2024 season and he’ll be in a secondary consisting of CB Marshon Lattimore, Marcus Maye, Demario Davis, and others. This could easily be a top 3 defensive unit in the NFL.
On March 14, 2019, Mathieu signed a three-year, $42 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. They did not make an offer to him while he was a free agent.
