The Real March Madness: Cam Newton Is Giving Up Climaxing For One Month

Written by Brad Shepard

The athlete with the most annoying font on Instagram posts in internet history made a startling announcement on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was talking about how he likes to challenge himself in the offseason, in order to be mentally tougher. Each month he challenges himself in a new way.

In January, he gave up gambling. I mean, that’s not too bad, right?

In February, he gave up meat and went full vegan. That’s a big change, but hey, that’s cool I suppose.

In March, well, March is where the madness began. Cam told Corden he was giving up wi-fi. If that wasn’t far enough, he’s also giving up climaxing.

That’s a full month of no sex and no masturbation for Cam, which might not be the worst thing for his throwing arm coming off shoulder surgery.

Did I mention his team’s slogan is “Keep Pounding?” It sounds like that’s stopped, at least for now.

According to Cam, he believes that once the season begins, he can look back on those challenges and feel like he’s mentally stronger than before.

Good luck, sir.
