The NFL Needs To Take A Page Out Of The XFL Books, Holding Referees Accountable

We had our first controversial ending in an XFL game. Houston QB Phillip Walker kneeled on 4th down with two seconds left in the game that would’ve given Seattle the ball on the Houston 20 in a one score game (3 point conversions are possible).

The XFL issued a statement, holding the referee accountable:

Exactly what the NFL needs to start doing! We always have to hear players and coaches names when they mess up, leagues need to hold higher officials to a higher standard.

We’ve had nothing but terrible calls during the past couple of NFL seasons, this could be the fix. Holding them accountable.

Thank you, Oliver Luck!
